Leona Lewis - Best Kept Secret
It looks like the word is trickling out about the unreleased 1st album from R&B/Pop singing phenomenon Leona Lewis. "Best Kept Secret" will finally be out to retailers January 27th, 2009 from Caroline Records. Much of the hype behind this album is that
I don't think I've seen a single Leona fan on any of her fansites who thinks BKS is better than Spirit though the people behind the record keep making the claim.
To me they sound like poorly produced, unfinished demos.

I think those posts on scene-out are from the people behind the album. Various versions of the tracks have been doing the rounds for the best part of two years on filesharing websites and via blogs. They seem to have been rejigged a few times.
A few were also given away as free downloads by the Mirror in some sort of deal with UEG last year.

It doesn't require seeing fans thoughts on fansites to dictate who said what anymore, IMO. Many of those fans may have changed their minds after a few more listens in comparison to the "Spirit" album. I've done that several times over the years after listening to music - fell in love with it - then realized that I rushed to judgement & switched back. Have you done that before? It will be interesting after BKS is released.
