Ashford & Simpson Releases New Single - 'Solid As Barack'
Just in time for the Presidential Inauguration, songwriting couple and recording artists Ashford & Simpson is releasing a single version of ‘Solid (As Barack)’, a remake of their popular # 1 single ‘Solid (As A Rock)’ originally released in 1984.

The single is a tribute to President-Elect, Barack Obama. ‘Solid (As Barack)’
is available as a free ringtone and by digital download. The demand has
been overwhelming since a recent airing of a version of the song on Saturday Night Live.
That version was performed by the comedic cast of the series. This new
version, complete with expanded lyrics for the entire song, is a
reverential tribute to Barack.
