La Tanya Hall - It's About Time

The excitement surrounding the release of La Tanya Hall's solo debut disc was expressed by American song specialist Michael Feinstein, who wrote that: “Listening to La Tanya is a transporting experience for me. The natural beauty of her voice, her musicality and myriad interpretive gifts make her singing a unique and joyous experience.” If one word could be used to describe La Tanya Hall’s talent, it would have to be diverse. Her versatility in a variety of musical genres has allowed her to travel the world and work with some of the world’s most celebrated artists, including Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Michael Feinstein, Patti Labelle, Harry Belafonte, Steve Tyrell and Bobby McFerrin. She is also an in-demand session singer and an accomplished actress, having lent her skills to numerous recording projects, Broadway shows and television and movie appearances.
