"Gospel Superfest is awesome," states Larry Tinsley, host of "Sunday Mornings" on V103 in Atlanta
arguably the highest-rated gospel radio show in the country (based on Arbitron ratings).  "It is powerful, moving and thoroughly uplifting.  The energy and excitement of the program runs from start to finish and takes our worship experience to another level.  It is a 'must see' for everyone who loves the Lord."

"Dr. Bobby Cartwright is truly a gift to the body of Christ," states Bishop Paul S. Morton, Senior Pastor Changing A Generation FGBC, Atlanta, GA and Greater St. Stephen Ministries, New Orleans, LA.  "He has used his gifts and talent to create an award-winning production, 'The Super Gospel Fest.'  This is not only a musical showcase of talented gospel artists, it is also a vehicle that has touched and changed the lives of many."

The motivation behind releasing the CD/DVD project came from viewers of the TV series who continually asked, "Where can I get a copy of the program I just saw?  Is it available on DVD?  I would love a copy for a friend, etc."  With Gospel Superfest celebrations having a reputation of being one of the most spiritually impacting and uplifting concert series in urban America, Knowles saw the need to join with Dr. Cartwright to meet the needs of the continuous requests by fans, resulting in the release of the first Gospel Superfest CD/DVD.

"I am excited about the partnership with Dr. Bobby Cartwright, Jr. on this project.  Gospel music has always been important to our family and through this CD/DVD, hopefully we will inspire and touch the lives of thousands of people all over the world who will enjoy some of the best performers in gospel music," states Mathew Knowles, President and CEO of Music World Entertainment/Spirit Rising Music.

The nationally-syndicated show has aired in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Houston and Detroit. Gospel Superfest TV specials have also been carried by several broadcast and cable networks including TBN, The Gospel Music Channel, The Word Network, The Daystar TV Network and ION Media Networks.  Gospel Superfest has become one of the top national events dedicated to black gospel music television, its production, expansion and most importantly, its preservation.  Backed by some of the largest corporations in America, Gospel Superfest TV has been seen by millions of viewers during its illustrious ten year history.  The next special, "The Allstate Gospel Superfest Spring Jam," will air nationally in syndication April 1 through April 30, 2009.

"We are so excited about this release," says Dr. Bobby Cartwright, Jr., Executive Producer and Founder of Gospel Superfest Television.  "Audiences will be blessed, uplifted and inspired by these special segments from our series and I am privileged and honored to work with Mr. Knowles and Music World on our first CD/DVD offering."

In 1998, Dr. Cartwright received a vision from God to produce a national TV show that would accomplish several things-expand the gospel music TV landscape, uplift and inspire TV audiences around the world and offer opportunities for new and up-and-coming gospel artists.  This was a huge task for someone who had never produced a national TV show, and also had no contacts to call upon to get a quick tutorial.  However, with much contemplation, some reservation at first, but practicing faith, the Gospel Superfest was implemented as a three-day festival in the city of Louisville, KY.  Ten years later, Gospel Superfest has become the most widely distributed urban gospel TV show in history.  It's the only gospel production in syndication, to originate from the entertainment capital of the world (New York City) for three consecutive years (2004, 2005 and 2006).  Somehow, this then novice production team, with this God given vision, pulled off what many deemed as impossible.

I was just wondering was this Mr. Bobby Cartwright Jr. from Dayton, Ohio. I used to worked for him at Channel 51. If this is him I would like to say congratulations on your accomplishments. I knew that you would not settle for anything less. Continue being a servant for God and reaching out for souls with the Gospel of Music. You were a great person to work for and I thank you for teaching me at that time what I knew. May God Bless!!
