We're less than a month away from the release of 'Momentum' - the first of five albums to be released over the next three months from prodigious jazz sax-man and composer Myron Walden.
'Momentum' is inspired by the range of expression from Miles Davis' 1960s bands' recordings and compositions. During a four years recording hiatus, the alto sax virtuoso wrote feverishly and wood-shedded, learning the tenor saxophone. After performing alongside such luminaries as Wynton Marsalis, Ray Barretto, Nat Adderley, Freddie Hubbard, and Brian Blade, this creative surge marks a coming into his own, and the refreshed voice lends a depth of feeling to his creative compositions.

It looks like you've landed another noteworthy artist. Myron Walden sounds like he's got a lot of potential, according to the sample he's pretty much in the zone with cats like Garrett, Sanchez, and Jaleel Shaw etc.
