The Top 100 R&B Slow Jams - #97 | Phil Perry - Call Me

What a way to not only honor some of the finest soul music ever created. It also helps a lot of us to make sure we have these gifted melodies sitting somewhere within arms reach!
This next selection is coming, by surprise, by none other than our writer George Strand. And yes, he had a few words to spare:
..."My Friends, please VOTE for Phil Perry in this American Smooth Jazz Awards - Male Vocalist category . Its been a long call for a man I truly not only admire as a vocalist, but for also his affection towards individuals, his purity & commitment to ballads, his complete unmeasurable call to excellence. A student of the art who maximized his gift to perfection. An inspiration even in the eyes of the youth as well as many of us still coming home to sit down in a rocking chair. "Call Me" should be in the top ten, not 100, of any love ballads. Terrill, put this one in there brother.".....
The Aretha Franklin gem "Call Me" is found on the album, "The Heart Of A Man" - released back in 1991.
Without a doubt, we present our next selection for our #97 R&B Slow Jam Pick | Phil Perry - "Call Me"!

Phil should re-release or perform this song again. It was the sickest slow cut he put out! To Phil, in regards, with stupid madd love. He's the only lone ranger from the old school still putting it down.
