The Top 100 R&B Slow Jams - #44 | Troop - All I Do Is Think Of You
The slow jams coming to you courtesy from the fine ladies and gentlemen of T.U.M.S. comes back with another memorable selection. And this one hits the high mark:
When young R&B Boy group Troop (Steve, Allen, Rodney, John & Reggie) arrived to the R&B block, all the way from Pasadena, Cali. back in 1988, these guys came with a sound, a look and some hit singles and albums. One of those classics, "All I Do Is Think Of You" has to be a hand-picked mixtape slow jam choice within seconds of being heard.
The single is found off the album "Attitude", released back in 1989 and it made it to the top of Billboard Charts at #1.
We are also happy to report that talented lead singer from the group and songwriter Steve Russell is still going strong in the music spectrum today, having released his very 1st solo debut, "So Random" around the beginning of the year. We covered a small promotion for it on this same blog. Look under "New R&B Releases" in the category on the left...in the sidebar.
