Its so sad to see 'Heavy' pass on, but his mark in Hip Hop will always be remembered. He was one of the very few 'clean' acts in rap that ever stood court.

He will be remembered not only for his clever delivery of lyrics, but for also his professionalism on and off the stage. A great producer too. I remembered when he discovered the 4 boy act 'Soul For Real' and that jam, 'Candy Rain' and just about every track off their debut album. I can remember the episode on Video Soul with Donnie Simpson when he stopped by for a minute and shared a joke about him 'passing gas' on a seat in the limousine also shared by Donnie. Watching those two guys crackin' up on the set was priceless. God Bless You Brother Heavy and may your music always rotate on the wheels of steel.
