Brand New Single 'AFTER THIS' Now Available On iTunes

Nashville, TN (December 6, 2011) - JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise returned with an all-new high energy single, "After This," which made an immediate impact at Gospel radio when it hit just a few weeks ago. The new single leads the way for their new release, PRAISE, THANKS & DECLARATION.

In the same signature and vibrant vein that has made Hairston & Youthful Praise so successful, the new single is both spirited and lively.  "After This" powerfully speaks to victory after our trials, a relevant message for today's tough times.  Youthful Praise's vocals on the memorable hook make "After This" irresistible and listeners quickly find themselves singing along.  Joining Hairston & YP is Bishop Eric McDaniels, a long time supporter, whose tenor vocals give the song much more depth, truly defying listeners to sit still.

"After This" was co-written by Hairston and Eric Davis and recorded at The First Cathedral in Bloomfield, CT. "After This" is the first single off the upcoming PRAISE, THANKS & DECLARATION, slated for release March 27, 2012. The single is available now on iTunes.

The new album was recorded live last July and comes off the heels of their 2009 successful Resting On His Promise. Over the past 10 years, Hairston & Youthful Praise has made a significant impact on today's contemporary Gospel music. Their special brand of choir music has affected the way churches and listeners worship musically on Sunday mornings.   Ministering around the globe, Hairston has been responsible for hugely popular songs such as "Lord, You're Mighty," "Resting On His Promise," "Awesome God," and the 2004 worship anthem "Incredible God, Incredible Praise."

Hairston has written, produced and led the group since their inception in 1992 and the blend of praise and worship with traditional choir harmonies have set the standard for today's current crop of choirs and vocal ensembles.
