HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JACKSON | The King of Pop (2012)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JACKSON
The King of Pop

Michael Jackson
(August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)

The crew plays back one of the most underrated singles Mr. Jackson has ever released in honor of his birthday. We believe many or most of you may agree to disagree. We understand.

"P.Y.T", the single from the #1 selling LP of all time "Thriller", was produced by music legend Quincy Jones and written by R&B/Soul legend James Ingram. The track climbed all the way up to #10 on Billboards Hot 100 charts back in 1983. Many wondered who was the background singers that provided the chorus &/or chants to the "P.Y.T" vocals on the track. It was Janet & LaToya Jackson with Becky Lopez & Bunny Hull (The P.Y.T.'s), and James Ingram with Howard Hewett.

We encourage you to play this one back (if not ALL of your favorite songs) in honor of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE

PS: They should have made an official music video for this classic!
